On 2nd July 2022, I was a speaker for the course for general practitioners held at the Tasca d’Almerita Estate in Sclafani Bagni, together with Dr F. GIacco. The main topic was ‘Osteoarthrosis’, a progressive disease mainly related to ageing and the body weight of the patient being treated. Osteoarthrosis is the most frequent cause of joint pain and affects millions of people worldwide: around 10% of the adult population suffers from it, and 50% of people over 50.
